Brunei Chief Justice Dato Seri Paduka Steven Chong Wan Oon, accompanied by H.E. Consul General Mrs Ainatol Zahayu Mohammad, led a senior delegation of judges from the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam in making a special visit to AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre and exchanged the latest developments, knowledge and explored opportunities to collaborate.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by our Director Nick Chan, MH, Justice of the Peace, who elaborated on the many unique advantages of Hong Kong as a regional disputes resolution and legal services hub, the strong Rule of Law, deep bench of disputes resolvers and professionals with cross-disciplinary knowledge in trade, finance, technology, Web 3.0, blockchain, big data, NFT etc, and showcased AALCO’s cost efficient Online Disputes Resolution platform, as well as highlighting the special access to Interim Measures to preserve evidence and assets with help from Mainland Chinese courts for parties to arbitral proceedings that submit their case to the AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre.
