On 16 December 2025, Guangdong Quality Development Association (GQDA) visited AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre (AALCO-HKRAC) to engage in in-depth exchanges. Both parties agreed to strengthen professional cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong and jointly support enterprises in expanding their international presence.

The GQDA is a provincial-level professional organization dedicated to advancing quality development in Guangdong. AALCO-HKRAC, based in Hong Kong, is an international arbitration institution. With its internationally recognized legal environment and continuously optimized arbitration ecosystem, Hong Kong offers robust support for cross-border dispute resolution. The establishment of AALCO-HKRAC in the city further enhances access to comprehensive services across arbitration, mediation, adjudication, and sports-related dispute resolution.

During the exchange, both sides expressed interest in exploring deeper cooperation in areas such as professional talent development and cross-border legal risk management for enterprises. By combining Guangdong’s rich industrial practices with Hong Kong’s international arbitration expertise, the collaboration aims to provide more effective support for enterprises facing challenges in global trade and commerce.

This meeting marks a meaningful step toward leveraging the complementary strengths of Guangdong and Hong Kong’s professional services sectors. It contributes to building a stronger support system for enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, helping them deepen international cooperation and enhance risk resilience in an increasingly complex global market.
