On 2 July 2025, AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre (AALCO-HKRAC) welcomed a distinguished senior delegation from Tsinghua University, led by Prof. Shen Weixing, Former Dean of Tsinghua University’s School of Law.
Under the leadership of Mr. Nick Chan, BBS, MH, JP, Director of AALCO-HKRAC, and Mr. Dennis Cai, Deputy Director of AALCO-HKRAC and graced by the presence of Prof. Teresa Cheung, GBM, GBS, SC, JP, Co-Chairman of the Asian Academy of International Law, the delegation engaged in a multifaceted exchange.
Mr. Nick Chan and Mr. Dennis Cai presented a comprehensive overview of AALCO-HKRAC’s pivotal role in dispute resolution across the international community, with particular emphasis on its contributions to the Belt & Road Initiative. The discussions further delved into potential collaborations for cultivating foreign-related legal talent across the region.
As an international legal hub empowered by international and intergovernmental institutions like AALCO-HKRAC, Hong Kong has unique advantages in promoting peaceful cross-border dispute resolution and training the next generation of cutting-edge legal talent for the world.
