On 28 January 2025, AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre, represented by Director Mr. Nick Chan, BBS, MH, JP, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Probono Legal Services Association (IPLSA), represented by Director Dr Hon Junius Ho Kwan-yiu, BBS, JP.
To support the Decision of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, which emphasizes strengthening foreign-related legal systems and talent development, the partnership will launch the “Advanced Foreign-Related Legal Talent Training Program” (涉外法律服務高端法律人才培訓班) starting in the first quarter of 2025.
By leveraging Hong Kong’s advantage of being “backed by the motherland and connected to the world”, the program will equip professionals in the Greater Bay Area with cutting-edge expertise in cross-border dispute resolution, international trade compliance, and BRI project governance, and promote the construction of the country’s foreign-related rule of law.
