Mr. Nick Chan, MH, JP, Director of AALCO-HKRAC and guest speaker Prof Zhao Yun, Henry Cheng Professor in International Law and Associate Dean (Mainland Affairs), Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong, shared his valuable insight about Navigating in Outer Space and Cyberspace: Laws and Practice. He has elucidated the historical origins and latest development of outer space law and discussed how government and various stakeholders can collaborate to address the growing issue of cybercrime.
The event was supported by The University of Hong Kong, Hague Conference on Private International Law, The Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong Bar Association, The Law Society of Hong Kong and Young Executive Council-Federation of Hong Kong Industries and attended by their members, lawmakers, government officials, business community leaders and leading professions at historical monument the Former French Mission Building which previously housed Hong Kong’s Court of Final Appeal.
